Title: Telemarketer \n\nLocation: Abuja (FCT)\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time\n\nDepartment: Sales and Marketing\n\nReports To: Sales Manager\n\nJob Summary\n\nThe candidate must be confident, persuasive, professional, and comfortable communicating with customers over the phone.\nThe Telemarketer will be responsible for contacting prospective and existing customers by telephone to promote the company’s products and services, generate leads, schedule appointments, and support sales conversion.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nEscalate complex customer enquiries to the appropriate department.\nFollow approved call scripts and communication guidelines.\nMeet daily, weekly, and monthly call and lead-generation targets.\nFollow up on enquiries and previous customer interactions.\nSubmit daily and weekly telemarketing reports.\nIntroduce and explain the company’s products and services.\nSchedule appointments and sales meetings where necessary.\nMake outbound calls to prospective and existing customers.\nHandle basic customer enquiries professionally.\nMaintain accurate records of calls, customer responses, and follow-up activities.\nGenerate qualified leads for the sales team.\nConduct telephone surveys and collect customer feedback.\n\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)\n\nAccuracy of call records and reports.\nNumber of calls completed.\nCall-to-sale conversion rate.\nNumber of qualified leads generated.\nQuality of customer interactions.\nAppointment conversion rate.\n\nQualifications and Requirements\n\nSSCE, OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree.\nClear speaking voice and good listening skills.\nBasic computer skills and the ability to maintain customer records.\nExcellent telephone communication skills.\nStrong organisational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to persuade customers without being aggressive.\nPrevious experience in telemarketing, telesales, customer service, or call centre operations is
