We are currently seeking a System Engineer who is enthusiastic about systems engineering and autonomy compute systems. This work is aligned to best-in class functional safety and cybersecurity standards.\nWhat you'll do:\nWe are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Systems Engineer who will bring new ideas, optimizations, and best practices to the AD-Kit Systems Team. The Senior Systems Engineer owns and drives the decomposition, alignment, and traceability of product requirements across compute platform systems. The team is responsible for authoring, maintaining, and analyzing technical requirements, and working across the product lifecycle to ensure stakeholder alignment and successful bring-up, testing, validation, and integration of the AD-Kit System. This includes, but is not limited to, embedded compute, data logging, power distribution, smart antenna, and all sensor modalities (radar, LiDAR, camera, microphone, etc).\nLead the development of compute platform system requirements, ensuring alignment with applicable functional safety and cybersecurity standards.\nMaintain requirements databases using Jama, ensuring accuracy and traceability.\nPartner with the Product team to interpret product-level requirements and decompose them into detailed autonomy system requirements.\nLead the development of AD-Kit System functional architecture.\nDevelop AD-Kit System integration and test plans.\nStay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices and champion this with others in the group.\nPerform problem-solving activities during design, prototype, and production, driving root cause analysis and problem resolution.\nWhat you’ll need to succeed:\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field and 6+ years of experience OR Master’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nHands-on systems, hardware, and software engineering experience.\nExperience working with safety-critical and fail-operational control systems.\nExperience with and strong understanding of automotive ECUs and methodologies.\nExperience with Requirements Management Tools such as Jama.\nFamiliarity or experience with data buses such as CAN, PCIe, Ethernet, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, I2C.\nExperience with high-speed signaling and signal integrity.\nBonus Points!\nExperience with ISO 26262 standards and ASPICE and how to creatively apply these concepts to iterative design and development.\nExpertise in establishing a robust functional safety case for L4 autonomous applications.\nExperience with high-speed signals on PCBs such as PCIe, Ethernet, and DDR memory.\nExperience with C, C++, Python, and/or Linux.\nExperience designing, executing, and documenting lab-based and/or real-world field tests.\nKnowledge of industry standards and regulations related to automotive electronics.\nExperience with standard lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.\nHiring Range for Job Opening \nUS Pay Range\n$153,200—$183,800
