Come grow with us!\n\nTorch Technologies is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join a team supporting cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and on-prem virtual machine provisioning. This position supports the USSPACECOM J6 Division.\n\nAs a Cloud Engineer, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:\nDesign, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and on-prem VM provisioning.\nCollaborate with software engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams to ensure scalability, security, and efficiency.\nEvaluate and recommend cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Oracle).\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.\nManage and configure cloud resources and Nutanix hypervisor environments (VMs, containers, databases, networking).\nImplement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.\nTroubleshoot incidents, identify performance bottlenecks, and optimize system resources.\nApply security best practices and ensure compliance with applicable standards.\nConduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.\nSupport automation and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.\nDocument architecture designs, deployment processes, and troubleshooting guides.\nCollaborate with development teams to align cloud architecture with application requirements.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nU.S. Citizenship\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)\n2+ years of related experience.\nSecret level DOW clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI\nProven experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, or Oracle\nExperience supporting both Windows and Linux environments\nProficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible\nStrong understanding of networking principles, security practices, and cloud architecture patterns\nExperience with containerization/orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)\nExperience with Microsoft Config Manager, Red Hat, Red Hat Satellite, SQL Server, Windows 11, Windows Server OS\nFamiliarity with Elastic, ACAS, ePO (HBSS)\nExcellent scripting/programming skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)\nDoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+)\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues\nEffective communication and collaboration skills\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nTS/SCI level DOW clearance\nRelevant cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.)\nExperience developing automated deployment pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI)\nExperience with compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS)\n\nSchedule: M-F; 8-5\n\nWork Location: Onsite, Colorado Springs\n\nTravel: Yes, 10-20%\n\nRelocation Assistance Available: No\n\nPosition Contingent Upon Award of Contract: No\n\nSalary range: $110,000-$140,000\n\nThe salary range information is general guidelines only.
