QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer and lead candidate for our QA team, you will build out our quality assurance practices, combining AI tools with test automation to raise both speed and quality. This role will be performed onsite at our Niigata development base, a two-minute walk from Niigata station.

Responsibilities

• QA Process Standardization: Design and drive initiatives to standardize and improve QA processes across the development organization.
• AI-Assisted Test Design: Systematize test analysis and design using AI tools such as Claude Code and Devin.
• Upstream Involvement: Engage from the early stages of development, leading test planning and effort estimation.
• E2E Test Automation: Drive end-to-end test automation with Playwright.
• Quality Culture: Instill quality awareness throughout the development team.
• Mentoring: Provide technical mentoring for junior members of the QA team.

Requirements

• QA Experience: Hands-on experience as a QA engineer or test engineer for software or web services, including test planning, design, and management.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience driving quality improvements together with colleagues in different roles.

Nice to haves

While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.

• E2E test automation experience with tools such as Playwright or Cypress
• Experience improving QA processes or managing a team
• Hands-on business use of AI tools, or a strong interest in them
