They’re trusted advocates, strategists, negotiators, and leaders who have a direct impact on the lives of the people we represent.\nWe’re looking for an experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney who knows how to take ownership of a case, build trust with clients, negotiate strategically, and consistently look for ways to maximize results.\nIf you’re looking for meaningful work, quality cases, strong support, high-level mentorship, and a team that genuinely values your contribution, we’d love to meet you.\nWHAT YOU’LL OWN\nThe Case\nYou’ll take ownership of personal injury cases from intake through settlement, developing the strategy and driving the case forward.\nYou’ll:\nConduct strategic investigations into liability, damages, and case value\nAnalyze medical records, evidence, and other case-related documentation\nDevelop case strategy and identify opportunities to maximize value\nDraft and review demand packages and other legal documents\nNegotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel\nEvaluate settlement offers and make strategic recommendations\nMaintain a strong understanding of the legal and factual issues affecting each case\nThe Client Experience\nOur clients come to us during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.\nYou’ll be responsible for helping them understand the legal process\nSet the expectations\nAnswer their questions\nMaking sure they feel informed and supported throughout their case.\nWe believe exceptional legal representation and exceptional client service go hand in hand.\nCollaboration\nYou won’t be doing this alone.\nYou’ll work closely with legal assistants, case managers, medical professionals, lien negotiators, and attorneys to move cases forward and deliver the best possible results for our clients.\nWe value attorneys who communicate well, collaborate naturally, and understand that great outcomes are built by great teams.\nOwnership\n We’re looking for someone who doesn’t wait to be told what needs to happen.\nIf something is holding a case back, you identify it.\nIf there’s an opportunity to strengthen a case, you pursue it.\nIf a client needs help, you step in.\nYou’ll have significant responsibility for your caseload, and we expect our attorneys to take genuine ownership of the work\nWHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR\nWe’re looking for an attorney who combines strong legal judgment with exceptional communication, organization, and client-service skills.\nYou’ll likely thrive here if you:\nAre an active attorney in good standing\nHave 5+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience preferred\nHave a strong understanding of California personal injury law and procedures\nHave experience managing a significant personal injury caseload\nAre a strong negotiator who knows how to evaluate risk, leverage, and case value\nCommunicate confidently and empathetically with clients\nAre highly organized and detail-oriented\nTake ownership of your cases and follow through\nCan work independently while contributing to a collaborative team\nAre comfortable making strategic decisions and advocating for your clients\nCare about both the outcome of the case and the experience of the person behind it\nBilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.\nThis is a hands-on, high-accountability role.\nYou’ll have autonomy, but you’ll also be expected to own your results.\nYou’ll need to be comfortable managing multiple priorities, making decisions, communicating with clients, and pushing cases forward without waiting for someone else to tell you what to do.\nIf you’re looking for a position where you can simply manage files without taking ownership of the bigger picture, this may not be the right fit.\nIf you’re an attorney who wants to build cases, advocate for clients, grow professionally, and be surrounded by people who are serious about winning, we think you’ll fit right in.\nABOUT TORKLAW\nTORKLAW represents people whose lives have been changed because of someone else’s negligence.
