You will work directly with the founders and own how your function is built from the ground up.\n\nRole overview\nYou will own how TorqWars looks and feels everywhere: social media, campaigns, the arena, merchandise and packaging. Our design, video and content production runs through agencies and freelancers today; you will set the creative direction, brief and manage them, and own quality, timelines and budgets. When needed, you will design, edit or shoot yourself.\n\nKey responsibilities\nOwn the brand guidelines and creative direction across digital and offline.\nPlan content formats and series with the growth team.\nBrief and manage agencies, freelancers and production partners on quality, timelines and budgets.\nDeliver campaigns for the arena launch, events and product launches.\nDesign arena branding and signage, merchandise and packaging.\nBuild templates, an asset library and briefing formats for the team.\nTurn around quick creatives yourself when needed, for example event posters within 24 hours.\nUse AI design and video tools to speed up production.\nKPIs\nCreative quality and brand consistency, organic reach and engagement, production cost and on-time delivery.\n\nRequirements\n3+ years in brand design, creative direction or art direction at a brand, agency or studio.\nA strong portfolio, with your role on each project made clear.\nHands-on with design tools (Adobe suite, Figma) and motion graphics or video editing.\nExperience managing freelancers and vendors to budget and deadline.\nUses AI tools in design or video production.\nGood to have\nExperience with gaming, motorsport, streetwear or sports brands. 3D, motion design or photography. Has run your own studio.\n\nHow we assess\nA quick AI voice interview with your camera on (about 20 minutes, five main questions): two projects from your portfolio (the brief, your role, the decisions you made and what you would change), how you ran freelancers and agencies, how you would take the TorqWars brand into the arena and onto social, and what your last manager would say about you. We do not expect you to know RC cars; we will teach you the sport. We hire for intelligence, energy and integrity. Recent hands-on work matters more than total years, and we speak to references before any offer.\n\nYour first 90 days\nBrand guidelines, templates and an asset library the whole team uses; arena branding and the launch campaign delivered; and a reliable roster of freelancers and agencies working from clear briefs.\n\nWhat we offer\nOwnership of the brand from its first year, direct work with the founders, and a budget to work with the best freelancers and agencies.
