We are looking for people who want to solve hard problems and build things that matter.\n About the Role\nThe Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all products, components, and sub-\nassemblies meet quality standards and customer specifications before they are shipped or\nmoved to the next phase of production. This role involves leading root cause analysis,\ncontinuous improvement, process documentation, and data capture. You will also assist in\nconducting visual and function tests, examining materials, reading specifications, using\nprecision measuring tools, and documenting inspection results to maintain high levels of quality\ncontrol. As well as performing process audits, root cause analysis, nonconformance review and\ndisposition. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who wants to help build and mature\nTorus’s Quality Management System (QMS) from the ground up - not step into a system that\nis already fully established.\nResponsibilities\nAssist with inspection and technician duties\nRead and interpret prints, schematics, engineering drawings, or product manuals to\ndetermine required standards\nUse precision measuring tools for electrical and mechanical assemblies, such as\nmicroscopes, multimeters, calipers, micrometers, gauges, and coordinate measuring\nmachines (CMM)\nIdentify and reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations and\nclearly label them for disposition and analysis\nVerify accuracy of documentation from inspection reports and logs, and input data into\nthe company database and quality tracking systems\nLead production, quality, and engineering teams to perform in depth root causes\nanalysis and testing to identify defects and suggest improvements\nAssist quality management and engineering teams to resolve reported issues\nAssist with Quality Management System development and implementation\nSupport the development, implementation,
