To retain and develop top talent, we foster a work environment that celebrates creativity, encourages skill development, and enables multidisciplinary collaboration.\nWhat will you bring to the team.\nToshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Sr. Observability Engineer, who will be assisting the customers setup TGCS SW and HW, enable telemetry for logging, monitoring and tracing, help guide customers with observability dashboard and metrics - using customer's own stack.\nNaturally to be successful in this role, you must have and know of:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.\nAt least 6 years of professional experience in Software Development or L3 support roles using Java.\nExperience in microservices architectures, including cloud/web-based content.\nStrong problem-solving skills and self-driven.\nPerformance-driven mindset and ability to identify and meet KPIs.\nCapable of writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code and troubleshooting/debugging current applications.\nCan quickly triage and document and provide root cause analysis for customer reported issues.\nExperience communicating at different technical levels, from the application architects to the end user.\nTech stack: Java, Spring, SpringBoot, Git, Maven, Docker, MongoDB, CI/CD pipelines, experience with cloud.\nEnglish: Fluent. \nPreferred skills:\nLeadership skills.\nExperience working with international customers.\nAgile methodologies.\nFamiliarity with retail applications.\nFrontend experience: JavaScript, Vue.js, NodeJS, TypeScript.\nLinux & Windows.\nSelenium/Cucumber.\nSplunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Datadog. \nWe offer:\nHired directly by Toshiba and 100% under payroll.\nBenefits of the law (IMSS, INFONAVIT).\nLife insurance, major medical expenses with dental and visual coverage.
