Job Summary

We are seeking to recruit a highly skilledPurchasing Manager for our

client in the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will oversee the procurement

process, ensuring goods and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively,

and in line with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

·Strategic Procurement:

oDevelop and execute purchasing strategies to

meet business needs.

oAnalyze market trends to identify cost-saving

opportunities.

oForecast demand and manage inventory levels.

·Supplier Management:

oIdentify and evaluate potential suppliers.

oNegotiate contracts and favorable terms with

suppliers.

oBuild and maintain long-term vendor

relationships.

·Cost Control:

oMonitor and manage procurement costs.

oImplement cost-effective purchasing strategies.

oIdentify areas for cost optimization.

·Inventory Control:

oMaintain optimal stock levels.

oMinimize excess or obsolete inventory.

·Risk Management:

oIdentify and mitigate procurement risks.

oDevelop contingency plans for supply chain

disruptions.

Requirements

Requirements & Skills:

·Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management,

Logistics, or Business Administration.

·Minimum of 5 years’ experience in purchasing or

procurement.

·Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

·Excellent analytical and problem-solving

abilities.

·Proficiency in procurement software and tools.

·Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to a

dynamic environment.
