You will lead proof of concept builds, validate remediation through re-testing, produce clear technical evidence and client-ready reports, and work directly with stakeholders to hand over resilient, production-ready systems.\n\nYour Growth & Impact\n\nExpand your technical leadership by owning end-to-end VAPT engagements and network hardening for enterprise and government clients in Malaysia.\n\nLead cross-functional proof of concept and integration work, collaborating with vendors and partners to bring designs into production.\n\nStrengthen your toolset with hands-on experience using Nmap, Nessus, Wireshark, Metasploit, and platform appliances such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Juniper.\n\nPosition yourself for technical progression by producing high-quality security reports and risk assessments that influence client decisions and project roadmaps.\n\nRequirements\nResponsibilities\nSecurity testing & VAPT\nLead internal and external network VAPT engagements, covering discovery, exploitation where safe, and clear vulnerability classification.\nValidate remediation by re-testing findings and produce concise technical evidence to confirm risk reduction.\nTurn test results into client-ready technical reports with prioritized remediation steps and measurable risk ratings.\nMaintain and refine testing playbooks and toolchains to keep assessments current with emerging threats.\nNetwork design, deployment & hardening\nDesign and implement secure VPNs and enterprise network architectures, including IPsec VPN, IKEv2, and site-to-site configurations.\nConfigure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, NAT, and related components to meet performance and security requirements.\nConduct configuration reviews and infrastructure hardening to reduce attack surface and improve resilience.\nSupport Proof of Concept builds, system integration, commissioning, and operational handover activities.\nCustomer delivery & technical support\nPrepare professional network diagrams, project deliverables, and VAPT reports tailored for technical and non-technical audiences.\nProvide on-site and remote technical support, troubleshoot complex network security incidents, and coordinate with technology partners.\nAct as the technical point of contact for enterprise and government customers during projects and post-implementation reviews.\nManage stakeholder expectations through clear status updates, timelines, and documentation.\nRequirements\nQualifications & Experience\nMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering and network security roles.\nMinimum Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.\nProven practical Network VAPT experience is mandatory, including planning, execution, and remediation verification.\nExperience supporting government, financial services, or critical infrastructure projects, and exposure to Malaysian government tender processes is an advantage.\nHard Skills & Knowledge\nStrong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, NAT, and IPsec VPN/IKEv2 implementations.\nPractical experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Juniper, or equivalent network security technologies.\nProficiency with VAPT and network troubleshooting tools such as Nmap, Nessus, Wireshark, Metasploit, and Kali Linux.\nProven ability to produce professional VAPT reports, risk assessments, and clear remediation recommendations;
