Other duties may be assigned;\nOperational Leadership: Manages, supervises, and coordinates activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, and in fabricating metal parts and tools.\n\nTechnical Direction: Directs workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment. Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions and dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery.\n\nAutomation & Modernization: Modifies programming of robots and related equipment, such as robot controllers and programmable controllers.\n\nWorkflow Optimization: Studies production schedules, estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments, and establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.\n\nInventory & Records: Requisitions and maintains an optimal supply of spare parts while keeping accurate time and production records.\n\nContinuous Improvement: Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Suggests changes in working conditions and equipment use to increase efficiency.\n\nProblem Resolution: Analyzes and resolves work problems, or directly assists workers in solving them. Initiates plans to motivate workers to achieve operational goals.\n\nTraining and Development: Oversees the implementation and day-to-day administration of the Technical Training Program, monitors participant progress, and partners with cross-functional stakeholders to identify training objectives and ensure\n\nCross-Department Coordination: Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities across individual departments.\n\nHands-on Execution: Performs active mechanical execution and partakes in the activities of the workers supervised when required.\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESS:Directly manages up to 25 employees in the Maintenance/Machine Shop Department.\nCarries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.\nResponsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.\nQUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
