# Senior Engineer - Process Controls

Monitor performance of DCS, PHD/PI Historians and Environmental/COCL systems. Identify, troubleshoot and correct all impending view/control issues for Safety, Environmental, Economic, and Mechanical Integrity performance. Work directly with Central Control Operators, Unit Supervisors, Unit Process Engineers, and Environmental Engineers to improve unit control/performance within environmental and mechanical integrity boundaries. Support expense and capital projects to ensure new designs do not jeopardize the integrity of PAR’s control systems. Provide chronological alarm, event, and process data and participate in control related incident investigations. Monitor performance of regulatory control loops; including tuning loops and implement alternate control strategies as needed. Ensure all DCS assets are protected from internal and external cyber-security threats, and are kept current and at vendor supported release level. Identify and implement technology LifeCycle updates as required. Ensure all DCS assets are backed up to allow a quick recovery and continuity of business in the event of a disaster.
