As a Treatment Methods Engineer, your main responsibilities will be:
- Ensure the monitoring of the performance of gas, oil and industrial water treatment units;
- Contribute to the optimization of chemical treatments in production facilities;
- Analyze results from laboratories and facilities;
- Use analysis data such as pH, spectroscopy and infrared analysis;
- Monitor treatments related to corrosion, H2S removal and fluid quality;
- Produce, consolidate and analyze the department’s weekly and monthly reports using Excel and, when required, Power BI;
- Collaborate with operators to understand treatment practices and analysis methods.
Onshore and offshore trips are planned approximately once a month, for a maximum duration of 1 to 2 days. These trips will provide the opportunity to observe the analysis and treatment methods implemented on the facilities, meet operators, observe treatment processes and follow analyses carried out in the laboratory.
