You’ll Do\nDevelop Software: Design, write, and deploy high-quality applications built with a Go backend and Plain Vanilla Javascript frontend.\nBuild responsive, mobile-first web interfaces using modern HTML, CSS and ES6, ensuring performance and accessibility across all devices.\nDesign scalable APIs and data models in Go and PostgreSQL that can handle complex, data-heavy workflows.\nWork closely with product and design to shape features from idea to production.\nOptimize performance and reliability of SQL queries and backend services.\nTeam Collaboration: Work closely with product, QA, and operations teams; provide mentorship to junior developers.\nProject Management: Handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and proactively resolve roadblocks.\nProcess Improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in testing and maintainability.\nLocation\nVancouver, BC (Please note that remote work will be considered for exceptional candidates with occasional travel to Vancouver)\nJob Type\nJob Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday)\nRequirements\nWho You Are\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus.\nAt least 3 years of programming experience.\nExperience building and scaling backend systems in production.\nSolid hands-on experience with Go and SQL.\nProven experience developing applications from scratch using modern HTML, CSS and ES6 (Javascript).\nExperience applying mobile-first frontend implementation practices, including Flexbox, CSS Grid, and CSS Variables, is a plus.\nAbility to enhance development workflows using LLMs and other AI technologies.\nDesign skills are an asset, especially experience working with design tools like Figma.\nExperience designing or integrating HTTP REST APIs.\nProficiency with Git and GitHub.\nExperience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.\nEligible to work in
