We have delivered care to more than 10,000 patients, and our wellness program brings live, daily movement and mindfulness classes to seniors in their own homes through our online member portal.\nThe Role\nWe are hiring an experienced yoga instructor to lead live virtual classes for older adults. Classes run daily and are delivered through our member portal, with students joining from home on a laptop, tablet, or phone.\nThis is not a studio class adapted for seniors. It is purpose built for them: gentle, accessible, chair based and standing modifications throughout, and paced so that a student in their seventies or eighties feels confident, safe, and welcome from the first minute.\nWhat You Will Do\nLead live virtual yoga classes for older adults on a recurring weekly schedule\nTeach gentle, chair, and modified standing practices with clear verbal cueing\nOffer accessible variations in real time for a range of mobility levels\nCreate a warm, encouraging class environment that keeps members coming back\nOpen the virtual classroom on time and greet students as they arrive\nWork with our wellness team on class themes and the monthly schedule\nWhat We Are Looking For\nRequired\n200 hour yoga teacher certification (RYT-200 or equivalent)\nTwo or more years teaching experience, including work with older adults\nDemonstrated experience with chair yoga, gentle yoga, or adaptive practice\nComfort teaching to camera with strong verbal cueing, since you will not always be able to see or correct every student\nReliable high speed internet, a quiet well lit teaching space, and comfort with Zoom\nProfessional liability insurance, or willingness to obtain it\nPreferred\nSenior specific or chair yoga certification\nExperience teaching virtual or hybrid classes\nBackground in accessible movement, adaptive fitness, or restorative practice\nWho does well here\nOur members are older adults, many of whom are new to yoga and new to joining a class online. The instructors who thrive with us are patient, warm, and unhurried. They explain rather than assume, they normalize modifications instead of treating them as a lesser option, and they make people feel capable.\nDetails\nContract position (1099), remote\nLive classes on a set weekly schedule\nPaid per class\nYou provide your own space, mat, and equipment\nWe handle scheduling, member registration, the platform, and technical support","description_format":"text","description_chars":2473,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"Canada","iso":"CA","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Telemedicine & Virtual Care","Digital Mental Health"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-11T04:11:38Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":8,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.291,"p_room":0.28,"age_days":80,"expected_fill_days":27,"reasons":["conf:2","stale_co","win:tail","crowd:"],"computed_at":"2026-11-02T06:13:15Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/totallife-live-yoga-instructor-remote-contract","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/totallife-live-yoga-instructor-remote-contract.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-11-02T12:03:35Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":16498,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-11-03T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":685224},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=685224"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Ftotallife-live-yoga-instructor-remote-contract"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Ftotallife-live-yoga-instructor-remote-contract"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Ftotallife-live-yoga-instructor-remote-contract"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/totallife-live-yoga-instructor-remote-contract\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Ftotallife-live-yoga-instructor-remote-contract"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":708266}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"totallife.com","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":708266},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people); https://alion.io/mcp with an Alion account has everything.
