The role will also oversee payroll processing and payroll reporting, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time and that payroll information is properly reflected in management reporting and statutory submissions.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the production of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy, consistency and clear commentary.\nAssist with the month-end close process, including journals, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.\nHelp prepare consolidated financial statements across the group, including multi-entity and, where applicable, multi-currency reporting.\nMaintain and improve the financial control environment, ensuring appropriate policies, procedures and approval processes are followed.\nSupport cash flow reporting, working capital management and short- to medium-term liquidity forecasting.\nPartner with FP&A and Operations teams to improve financial visibility and support decision-making.\nAssist with annual audit preparation and manage audit deliverables, queries and supporting schedules.\nOversee the end-to-end payroll process, including payroll inputs, approvals, reconciliations, reporting, pension and benefit deductions, and liaison with external payroll providers where applicable.\nPrepare payroll reporting and analysis for management accounts, including salary costs, commissions, bonuses, employer taxes, benefits, headcount reporting and payroll-related accruals.\nContribute to finance transformation initiatives, including systems optimisation, automation and process improvement.\nProvide ad hoc analysis for the Senior Finance Management team, including KPI, SaaS metrics and performance reporting.\nCandidate Profile\nQualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent credentials.\nStrong technical accounting knowledge and experience preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.\nExperience in a SaaS, subscription, technology or high-growth business environment is highly desirable.\nExperience in a private equity-backed, investor-led or scale-up environment would be advantageous.\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment with evolving processes and systems.\nStrong Excel and financial systems skills; experience with NetSuite, Sage X3, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP platforms would be beneficial.\nExperience with payroll processing, payroll controls and payroll reporting, with an understanding of PAYE, pensions, benefits and payroll-related reconciliations.\nCommercially aware, with an interest in SaaS metrics such as ARR, revenue retention, churn, CAC, gross margin and EBITDA.\nExcellent attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to communicate clearly with finance and non-finance stakeholders.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nMonth-end reporting is delivered accurately and on time, with fewer manual adjustments and stronger supporting analysis.\nBalance sheet reconciliations, controls and audit trails are robust, well documented and consistently maintained.\nPayroll processing, payroll reporting and related reconciliations are accurate, timely, well controlled and clearly integrated into monthly reporting.\nFinance processes become more scalable, automated and fit for a PE-backed business preparing for continued growth.\nStakeholders receive clear, reliable financial information that supports commercial decision-making and investor confidence.\nAt Totalmobile, we want our employees to feel valued, appreciated, and free to be who they are at work.
