Our Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role at Aqua Gulf! CSRs are responsible for managing assigned accounts, growing relationships, soliciting and accepting loads, and ensuring the timely delivery of committed freight.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nProactively exceeds customer expectations for communication and service\nCommunicates with each assigned customer at least once per week\nDevelops and maintains strong customer relationships\nRealizes annual customer commitments by working with Planning and Business Partner Managers\nAnticipates and identifies problems and finds solutions\nAccepts and solicits orders by phone, email, websites, and other electronic transmissions\nDocuments account and load specific information in the operating system for assigned customers and locations\nChecks orders, location codes, and customer profiles for data accuracy and update details to exceed customer expectations\nUpdates customer portals and approves all charges in TruckMate\nMonitors customer container days in and out of ports to prevent storage and demerge charges\nExceed metrics, leads, and lag measures in all areas including service, phone etiquette, and solicitation\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nExceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills\nKnowledge of the Transportation industry and Department of Transportation regulations\nKnowledge of geographic locations, with the ability to understand and calculate time and distance\nStrong phone skills to include tone, pace, and clarity\nAbility to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a high-paced work environment\nAdvanced technical/computer skills with the ability to use at least 3 different programs simultaneously\nSolid planning and organizing skills with strong attention to detail\nCreative problem-solving and decision-making skills\nStrong work ethic with a professional, positive attitude\nAn innovative approach to problem solving\nHighly goal-oriented and results-driven\nBS/BA in Business Administration or Logistics Management, OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\nA minimum of 5 years of customer facing experience.\nA minimum of 3 years of Customer Service experience in Transportation.\nFull-time employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental, vision, life insurance, short term disability, long term disability, employee assistance program, 401(k) with company match.
