Dispatcher\nDispatcher\nPosition Profile\nThis position is responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service, efficient cargo pick-up and delivery, and optimal equipment turn-time.\nEssential Duties\nOperate safely and in compliance with all established HSSE policies and procedures\nResponsible for the routing, scheduling and dispatching of drivers, equipment and freight loads going out daily/nightly and reporting activities to the Operations group\nEnsure that all container numbers, times and dates are received from drivers and enter into the dispatch system\nProvides excellent customer service on the phone and when arranging for pick-ups and deliveries\nCommunicates with various customer sites to coordinate the movement of freight\nAssist customers with setting appointments and with other issues at locations\nSupport the safe operation of all trucks, drivers and related trucking operations\nPerforms administrative functions such as printing delivery receipts, manifest shipments for trailers, create freight bills, trace shipments, etc.\nSupport 100% compliance with all transportation and safety regulations, Federal, State and WISHA\nPrepare a variety of reports for operations, customers and for internal use\nMay assist with trucking and warehouse operations, as needed\nPerform other duties as assigned\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED\nMinimum of two years transportation / dispatch experience\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nSound understanding of DOT regulations, HazMat and OTR experience preferred\nProficient use of MS Office Suite including Word, Outlook and Excel\nExcellent verbal, written and listening communication skills\nAbility to multi-task and prioritize and exhibit team player attitude\nHigh level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations\nDemonstrate poise, tact and diplomacy\nWe’re committed to taking care of you and your family, today and in the future.\nHere’s what you can look forward to:\nCompensationCompetitive base annual salary range: $23.90 -
