We are committed to delivering safe, reliable, and innovative logistics services while fostering a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nAs we continue to expand our Airgateway operations, we are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager to help lead one of our largest and fastest-growing air logistics operations in Honolulu, Hawaii.\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nThe General Manager, Airgateway Program is a senior leadership role responsible for helping drive the performance, growth, and strategic direction of Naniq's Honolulu Airgateway operation. This position partners closely with the Airgateway Director of Operations to execute business strategies across operations, financial performance, client management, and business development.\nThis role oversees a complex, multi-service aviation logistics operation that includes Amazon Air parcel sortation, aircraft loading and unloading, ramp operations, ground handling services, and a growing air cargo operation supporting multiple airline partners.\nThe ideal candidate is a proven general manager, operations leader, air cargo leader, aviation professional, or transportation manager with strong operational expertise, financial acumen, customer relationship management skills, and experience leading large, multi-layered teams in a dynamic 24/7 operational environment.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nBusiness Planning & Financial Performance\nPartner with the Airgateway Director of Operations and corporate finance teams to develop and execute the Honolulu Airgateway business plan.\nSupport annual budget development, forecasting, financial reporting, and EBIT performance management.\nAnalyze operational metrics and financial performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed.\nContribute to rate development, profitability analysis, and business performance reviews.\nTranslate corporate strategy into actionable local operating plans.\nOperations Leadership\nDirect daily execution of parcel sortation, cargo handling, aircraft loading and unloading, warehouse operations, ramp services, and ground handling operations.\nEnsure compliance with all company, customer, airport, TSA, FAA, DOT, OSHA, and security requirements.\nDrive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives and performance management.\nMonitor service level agreements (SLAs), KPIs, safety metrics, and customer requirements.\nLead capacity planning, workforce allocation, and operational readiness efforts.\nMaintain operational readiness in a 24/7 multi-shift environment.\nBusiness Development & Client Management\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with Amazon, airline partners, cargo customers, and airport stakeholders.\nSupport contract negotiations, service reviews, and customer business meetings.\nIdentify opportunities to grow air cargo services, ground handling services, and aviation support operations.\nPartner with corporate business development teams on RFPs, proposals, contract renewals, and new customer opportunities.\nMonitor market conditions and emerging opportunities in Hawaii's air cargo market.\nPeople Leadership & Organizational Development\nLead, coach, and develop supervisors, managers, administrative staff, and frontline employees.\nFoster a culture centered on safety, accountability, employee engagement, and operational excellence.\nPartner with Human Resources to develop workforce plans, organizational structures, recruiting strategies, and succession planning initiatives.\nSupport compensation planning, performance management, and employee development programs.\nEnsure staffing plans align with current and future operational demands.\nReporting & Stakeholder Collaboration\nPrepare and deliver operational, financial, and strategic performance reports to senior leadership.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, workforce planning, business growth initiatives, and operational improvements.\nServe as a key leader within the Honolulu Airgateway operation and represent Naniq with customers and strategic partners.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Management, Transportation Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.\n8+ years of progressive leadership experience within air cargo, aviation, logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, parcel distribution, or ground handling operations.\n5+ years of experience in a General Manager, Director, Senior Operations Manager, or related leadership position.\nExperience managing multi-service operations or multi-customer operations.\nDemonstrated success leading large teams across multiple shifts and departments.\nStrong financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and EBIT accountability.\nProven business development, customer relationship management, and contract negotiation experience.\nWorking knowledge of TSA, FAA, DOT, OSHA, airport regulations, and aviation security requirements.\nAbility to work flexible hours supporting a 24/7 operation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience supporting Amazon Air operations.\nExperience in air cargo, freight forwarding, airline cargo, or ground handling operations.\nExperience operating within a multi-airline or airport cargo gateway environment.\nLean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement certifications.\nExperience with organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development.\nKnowledge of Hawaii's logistics, air cargo, or transportation markets.\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS\nMust successfully pass all required background checks and drug screening requirements.\nMust qualify for and maintain SIDA badging and applicable airport security clearances.\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States.\nValid driver's license preferred.\nAbility to travel occasionally for business meetings and company events.\nCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS\nCompensation\n $100,000 - $200,000 annual salary (DOE)\nRelocation Assistance Available for qualified mainland candidate\nBenefits\nMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance\nLife and Disability Insurance\nVoluntary Accident Insurance\n 401(k) with Company Match\n Paid Time Off (PTO)\n Employee Assistance Program (EAP)\nProfessional Development Opportunities\nWORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nRegular presence on airport ramps, cargo facilities, sort operations, warehouses, and operational work areas.\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, climb, and move throughout a large operational environment.\nAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.\nAbility to support operational needs across multiple shifts in a 24/7 environment.\nThis is a hands-on leadership role and is not exclusively office-based.\nWHY JOIN NANIQ GLOBAL LOGISTICS?\nThis is an exceptional opportunity to lead a high-profile, rapidly growing aviation logistics operation in one of the most unique transportation markets in the world.
