You will be at the heart of operational excellence, leading high-impact incident responses, building proactive monitoring systems, and engineering automation that prevents outages before they happen. If you love solving complex distributed system challenges and thrive in high-pressure environments, this role is for you.\nKey Responsibilities\nIncident Management & Reliability\nAct as Incident Commanderduring major outages, leading real-time diagnosis, communication, and recovery.\nOwn and improve the end-to-end incident management lifecycle, including post-incident reviews and action plans.\nDrive root cause analysisand proactive reliability improvements to prevent recurrence.\nMonitoring & Observability\nDesign and maintain metrics, alerts, and dashboardsusing Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic.\nImplement SLIs/SLOsto monitor service health and drive availability targets (99.99%+ uptime).\nIntegrate log managementand distributed tracingwith tools like ELK Stackand AWS X-Ray.\nAutomation & Tooling\nDevelop automation scriptsand internal tooling in Python or Node.jsto reduce manual ops and accelerate recovery (MTTR improvement).\nBuild self-healing infrastructure using IaCand automation pipelines.\nOptimize on-call workflows, escalation policies, and runbooks using PagerDuty.\nCloud Infrastructure\nOperate and improve infrastructure hosted on AWS, ensuring reliability, cost efficiency, and scalability.\nCollaborate with backend and platform teams to embed SRE best practicesacross engineering.\nKey Qualifications\n4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.\nProven success managing production incidentsand participating in on-call rotations.\nStrong hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and PagerDuty.\nProficient in Python or Node.jsfor automation and tooling.\nExperience with AWS services(EC2, CloudWatch, ECS/Lambda, IAM, etc.).\nSolid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and CI/CD pipelines.\nNice to Have\nExperience as Incident Commanderin mission-critical environments.\nKnowledge of New Relic, Sentry, ELK Stack, or Datadog.\nBackground implementing SLIs/SLOs/Error Budgets(Google SRE model).\nFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Ansible.\nCertifications such as:AWS Solutions Architect Associate/DevOps Engineer\nITIL Foundationor relevant reliability
