The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team of engineers and working collaboratively with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders.\nDescription\nThis position requires someone with a passion for web development and people management. As a manager on our team, you are responsible for driving toward sound implementation and timely delivery. In this role, you will:\nLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team, supporting career growth and creating a strong culture of ownership and continuous improvement.\nRecruit and grow world-class engineering talent, ensuring the team has the right skills and capabilities to deliver impactful products.\nOwn the engineering roadmap in collaboration with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders, translating product priorities into clear technical execution plans.\nOversee the development of new features and improvements across our Super App, while rolling up your sleeves and contributing hands-on when needed.\nPartner closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure high standards of code quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability.\nDrive technical design and architecture discussions, facilitating whiteboard sessions and ensuring end-to-end integration, scalability, and user impact are considered from the start.\nConduct regular 1:1s and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to help team members grow and succeed.\nStay current with emerging technologies and best practices in mobile and software development, engineering, and testing.\nKey Qualifications\n6+ years of experience in web development or a related field\nProven experience in leading and mentoring a team of web developers\nStrong proficiency in modern web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)\nExperience with server-side programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby\nExperience with web application frameworks such as Express.js, Django, or Laravel\nExperience with database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL\nExperience with version control systems such as Git\nFamiliarity with cloud-based infrastructure, such as AWS or Google Cloud\nExperience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes\nSolid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices, including Agile methodologies\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\nPassion for building high-quality, scalable web applications\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\nNice to have\nExperience with project management tools such as
