Responsibilities include bread, cake, and sandwich preparation, staff training, and support for product quality and food safety standards in accordance with company recipes and procedures.\nLevel of Responsibility\nPerforms assigned production and opening support duties in accordance with established company standards and procedures. Works under the guidance of a senior QC team member or a higher-level QC staff member and seeks their support to resolve production, quality, and operational issues as needed.\nJob Duties\nProduction and New Store Opening Support\nProvide on-site production and operational support across bread, cake, and sandwich stations during new store openings as assigned.\nPrepare breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, and sandwiches according to company recipes and standard procedures.\nAssist with cake decoration and product finishing to meet brand presentation standards.\nCheck ingredient and supply inventory during the opening period and assist with initial orders.\nProduct Training\nDemonstrate standard production procedures and provide hands-on training to bakery staff and kitchen managers under the guidance of senior QC staff.\nSupport store teams in following company product manuals and maintaining consistent product quality.\nProduct Quality and Food Safety\nMonitor product quality during production and work with a senior QC team member or a higher-level QC staff member to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.\nFollow and reinforce food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.\nMaintain clean and organized work areas and ensure proper use, cleaning, and routine care of kitchen equipment.\nDocumentation and Opening Records\nMaintain records of store readiness, training progress, and product quality observations for review by senior QC staff.\nUse Microsoft Excel or similar tools for basic data entry and opening support records\nSkills and Qualifications\nAt least two years of experience in a commercial bakery, pastry kitchen, or food service environment.\nHands-on experience in baking, cake decoration, or sandwich preparation is preferred.\nBasic understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality control practices.\nAbility to read and follow company recipes, product manuals, and standard production procedures.\nEffective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to demonstrate tasks and support store-level staff.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and adapt to changing tasks.\nBasic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar data entry software.\nAbility to travel up to 75% within the United States for on-site new store opening support.\nFlexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends during store openings.\nAbout the Company\nCJ has been a leader in Korea's food industry and continues to introduce the taste and culture of Korean food to global markets.
