CJ Foodville USA currently operates Tous les Jours, bakery franchise delivering healthy yet delicious freshly baked bread and cakes.\nSUMMARY\nA Kitchen Manager is responsible for the overall operations for the back of house and kitchen area of our Tous les Jours Bakery Cafe. Kitchen managers hire staff, purchase food and stock, and make sure everyone is trained on proper food preparation and kitchen safety techniques.\nJOB DUTIES (include but are not limited to the following)\nKitchen management (70%)\nResponsible for daily kitchen operations\nManage food preparation and recipe execution according to CJ Foodville standards\nConduct a thorough line check at the beginning of every shift\nManage food cost and BOH labor cost- setting proper pars according to menu mix, accurate ordering and inventory, scheduling, and maximizing yield\nResponsible for recruiting, training and development of BOH employees \nWork closely with GM to develop new menu items \nEducate and train employees about safety and sanitation\nWork closely with CJ Foodville team from Korea to develop and implement menu items\nStore management (30%)\nSupport GM for all his/her duties - an acting GM when other managers are not present\nResponsible for all daily restaurant operations - opening and closing\nResponsible for all operations P&L\nResponsible for administering restaurant supplies and maintaining proper inventory level\nResponsible for effective communication and problem resolution with customers, employees, and vendors\nWork closely with GM to develop and maintain effective marketing plans\nQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS\nAt least 4 years of full-service dining experience including management experience\nAssociate’s Degree in Hospitality preferred\nNYC Food Protection Certificate\nSpanish or Korean skill a plus\nAbout the Company:\nCJ has been leading the food industry in Korea, and it is now turning to the global market with efforts to bring to the world the taste and culture of Korean food.\nCJ Foodville was established in the US in 2004 and currently operates two main food service businesses: Tous Les Jours, a Bakery Franchise.\nTous Les Jours is a French-Asian Bakery serving a unique selection of bakery goods and beverages made with high quality of ingredients.
