This includes portioning and packaging our food products. Additionally, you will prep our packaging inventory and perform duties on our packing line to assemble our meals for shipping to customers.\nEssential Functions:\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.\nPortioning veggies, grains, spices, and sauces, into small plastic bags of corresponding containers\n\nInspecting product for quality\n\nMaking small cardboard boxes\n\nPacking products into boxes\n\nInsulating shipping boxes\n\nLabeling finished products for shipping\n\nMaintaining a clean and safe work environment\n\nWorking with the team to meet daily production goals!\n\nPhysical Demands\nStanding and/or walking up to 8+ hours per day in a cold environment (39 degrees F)\n\nLifting, pushing, and/or pulling up to 25 pounds frequently\n\nUse of hands and fingers for fine manipulation\n\nVision for machine operation and food handling\n\nHearing\n\nWear personal protective equipment for food safety\n\nCompetencies:\nAbility to follow written or verbal instructions\n\nAbility to weigh, measure, or otherwise portion food\n\nBasic arithmetic\n\nEducation, Experience, Licenses and Certifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred\n\nPrevious food or other manufacturing experience preferred\n\nFood certifications and licenses as required\n\nFood Safety Responsibilities:\nReport any food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.\n\nFollow and uphold procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan and the Food Quality Plan and any other programs that support the SQF system and other 3rd party programs/audits.\n\nWork Environment:\nProduction: Space can be crowded with manufacturing equipment. Must remain aware of Forklift traffic. Noisy; some areas can be dusty.
