This person would be based at our Reading office (Theale), and would need to be on site 5 days a week. Occasional travel may be required.\nJob Summary\nThe Q-EHS Manager is responsible for leading, managing, and ensuring compliance of the Tower Integrated Management System (TIMS) across Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001). This role provides oversight, decision-making, and accountability for site-wide compliance, audits, CAPA management, and risk-based improvements.\nThe jobholder will co-ordinate and manage the end-to-end customer issues process, driving root cause analysis, resolution of quality concerns, and improvement of supplier performance. They will oversee internal audits, the CAPA management system, and incident investigations, while supporting the site’s continuous drive for regulatory compliance, environmental care, and workplace safety.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManagement System Oversight\nOwn the maintenance and continual improvement of the TIMS.\nEnsure compliance with customer, regulatory, and ISO standards.\nMaintain and approve controlled documents, procedures, and records.\nPromote awareness of IMS policies, objectives, and requirements across all site personnel.\nAudit & Compliance\nPlan, prepare, and attend internal audits in line with ISO standards.\nLead internal audit program and external certification/regulatory audits.\nManage site CAPA processes, including effectiveness checks and closure.\nOversee supplier/sub-contractor audits and monitor corrective actions.\nReporting & Performance\nDefine and track KPIs, risks, and trends\nPresent quality and compliance performance to Senior Leadership and Management Review Teams.\nOperational Support & Improvement\nLead root cause analysis and ensure sustainable corrective actions in collaboration with subject matter experts and external clients to resolve issues.\nDrive process improvements using Lean Six Sigma and risk-based thinking.\nEnsure that Q-EHS controls are embedded across operational processes. This includes completing periodic site and process spot checks.\nTraining & Engagement\nDevelop and deliver training on TIMS and Q-EHS responsibilities\nPromote a proactive culture of safety, compliance and continuous improvement.\nHealth, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Responsibilities\nAct as site lead for Health, Safety, and Environmental management.\nEnsure compliance with UK HSE legislation, risk assessments, and incident management.\nManage incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting of HSE observations, accidents, and incidents.\nRequirements\nDegree in Life Sciences, Quality, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.\nProven experience leading audits and CAPA management. \nStrong leadership, influencing, and cross-functional communication skills.\nExtensive experience managing ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 systems.\nData-driven, analytical, with strong business acumen.\nSkills\nPeople oriented and results driven\nAbility to build and maintain excellent working relationships internally and externally\nExcellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills\nStrong written skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks all with an attention to fine detail\nExcellent business acumen, problem solving, negotiating skills, and analytical thinking\nStrong inter-cultural skills\nIndustry-specific technical knowledge\nConfidential and professional\nPlease note that we are not able to sponsor employment visas at this time.\nCold Chain Technologies is committed to Equal Opportunities in employment and service delivery.
