You will be joining the EMEA Development team and as a Quant Developer, you will be in charge of improving the current research framework through the development of existing and new tools, and provide close day-to-day support to the quantitative research team on-site. \nResponsibilities\nDesigning and implementing a low latency high-frequency trading platform\nAssisting in the development of a tick by tick backtesting research platform\nAssisting in development and optimizing large-scale parallel computation problems that requires large quantities of data shared across resources\nOptimizing the computational efficiency of existing machine learning based algorithms to drive higher performance and faster learning rates\nDeveloping systems, interfaces and tools to historical market data and trading simulations that increase research productivity\nCreating tools to analyze data and generate insights that research decisions are based on\nQualifications\nBachelor's, Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)\nA strong background in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming in C++\nBrilliant problem-solving abilities\nThe ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment\nStrong communication skills \nPython and/or financial markets experience is preferred but not required\n Benefits\nTower’s headquarters are in the historic Equitable Building, right in the heart of NYC’s Financial District and our impact is global, with over a dozen offices around the world. \nAt Tower, we believe work should be both challenging and enjoyable.
