Acting as the main coordinator to make sure all requirements are met and appropriate solution is setup in production accordingly\nSolving problems by providing level one and level two support for our production systems\nContributing to the design and implementation of the support system to enhance reliability and self-correction\nDevising ways to architect and develop with other technical teams within core engineering\nMonitoring and reporting on the status and health of our systems\nServing as the primary technical contact for brokers and exchanges\nProviding periodic after-hours coverage\nQualifications \nAt least 3 years of experience in the finance industry\nProficient in Python scripting and/or other scripting languages such as Perl, Bash or Shell.\nIn-depth knowledge of Linux OS, Kernel, scheduling, performance tuning\nStrong understanding of network concepts including TCP/IP, routing, VLAN, multicast.\nKnowledge of SQL, MongoDB and use of databases\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities\nThe ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment\nExcellent communication skills\nBenefits \nTower’s headquarters are in the historic Equitable Building, right in the heart of NYC’s Financial District and our impact is global, with over a dozen offices around the world. \nAt Tower, we believe work should be both challenging and enjoyable.
