Our Business Support teams enable our trading and engineering teams to perform at their best.\nAt Tower, employees will find a stimulating, results-oriented environment where highly intelligent and motivated colleagues inspire each other to reach their greatest potential.\nResponsibilities:\nArchitect and implement scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform (or equivalent IaC tools)\nDesign high-performance compute environments, including optimized networking and storage stacks\nManage and optimize Kubernetes clusters in cloud environments\nAutomate infrastructure workflows and build complex CI/CD pipelines\nBuild and maintain custom cloud images\nImplement robust monitoring and observability for performance-critical workloads\nLead on-prem to cloud and cloud-to-cloud migrations of HPC and distributed workloads\nCollaborate with research/engineering teams to optimize compute, storage, and scheduling efficiency\nQualifications:\nA bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field\nAt least 5 years of experience\nProficiency in Bash, Python, or Go for automation\nStrong expertise in HPC and distributed workloads to design scalable, high-performance cloud infrastructure\nDeep hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, Linux systems, cloud networking, and storage architectures\nAbility to build automated, production-grade cloud platforms for compute-intensive environments\nDeep understanding of cloud networking, storage architectures, and storage protocols (NFS, object, block, parallel/distributed storage)\nExpertise with Terraform or equivalent IaC tools\nExperience with HPC schedulers (Slurm/HTCondor)\nExperience with distributed computing frameworks such as Ray\nAnticipated annual base salary range $150,000-250,000, plus eligible for discretionary bonus.\nTower’s headquarters are in the historic Equitable Building, right in the heart of NYC’s Financial District and our impact is global, with over a dozen offices around the world.\n At Tower, we believe work should be both challenging and enjoyable.
