Some travels to other locations including outside of EMEA may be necessary from time to time. \nResponsibilities\nThe Trading Systems Support Analyst will manage the widely-deployed OMS and market data delivery systems involving every major electronic exchange and asset class. \nResponsibilities will include:\nWorking closely with traders to understand their needs\nSolving problems by providing level one and level two support for our production systems\nContributing to the design and implementation of the support system to enhance reliability and self-correction\nEnhancing our existing Python framework, driving its growth and contributing to the codebase\nHarnessing AI-powered solutions to significantly reduce time-to-market for system changes\nContributing to the monitoring stack and reporting on the status and health of our systems\nServing as the primary technical contact for brokers and exchanges\nProviding periodic after-hours coverage\nQualifications\nThe ideal candidate will have previous experience in the finance industry along with:\n3-5 years working in a high pressure environment, including diagnosing and resolving production issues on the fly\nGood understanding of electronic trading and/or financial instruments including equities, futures, and options\nThe ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating true ownership\nStrong Unix skills along with programming skills in Python and experience in scheduling tools like Airflow\nExperience working with Grafana\nGood understanding of networking and system concepts\nThe willingness to take on tasks both big and small\nExcellent communication skills and fluency in English\nA passion for learning and innovative problem-solving\nExperience with SQL and the use of databases is a plus \nBenefits\nTower’s headquarters are in the historic Equitable Building, right in the heart of NYC’s Financial District and our impact is global, with over a dozen offices around the world. \nAt Tower, we believe work should be both challenging and enjoyable.
