Our San Antonio fab is a dynamic and growing manufacturing site dedicated to delivering specialty electronic devices across a diverse range of applications, distinguished by exceptional quality, competitive cost structures, and superior cycle times.\nThe ideal candidate is self-motivated, with strong technical and analytical capabilities, combined with a practical, hands-on approach to solving complex engineering challenges.\nDevelopment Opportunities\nThis role offers strong opportunities for professional growth, including:\nBuilding deep electro-mechanical technical expertise through exposure to a wide range of engineering principles.\nParticipating in engineering project development and hands-on application related to continuous tool improvement.\nGaining specialized tool knowledge through direct exposure to tool OEMs and second-source suppliers.\nThis Job Is For You If:\nTake ownership of assigned processes and set direction for improvements, sustaining, and overall operations\nCollaborate with process and integration engineers to enhance process metrics (SPC, yield, parametrics, defects) and ensure first-pass success of technology transfers\nTake ownership of selection and qualification of semiconductor processing tools\nMonitor fab metrics using statistical process control (SPC)\nConduct root cause investigations of discrepant material and implement yield and defect improvement projects\nWrite operating specifications and provide technical training to wafer fab personnel\nPartner with equipment engineering to improve uptime and tool utilization\nTroubleshoot process and tool excursions\nIdentify cost savings opportunities and drive projects to reduce overall costs\nImplement advanced process control to improve Cpk at critical levels\nEnsure proper matching of newly installed equipment to support production ramp\nDevelop new semiconductor manufacturing processes using design of experiments (DOE)\nJob Requirements\nMust Have:\nM.S. or Ph.D. in a relevant field, or B.S. with 5+ years of related experience\nCoursework in semiconductor processing technology, device physics, and statistics is highly desirable.\nExcellent
