This individual will assist with receiving, organizing, packing, and preparing materials for shipment while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.\nThis is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and contributing to a team.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform all functions.\nWarehouse Organization: Assist with organizing boxes, supplies, equipment, and materials in designated storage areas to maintain an orderly and efficient workspace.\nPacking and Shipping: Pack boxes, prepare packages for shipment, and ensure materials are properly secured and labeled.\nShipping Labels: Print, sort, organize, and apply shipping labels, verifying that packages are accurately prepared for delivery.\nMoving Materials: Lift, carry, move, utilize material handling equipment and stack boxes and supplies throughout the warehouse, using appropriate safety practices.\nReceiving and Sorting: Assist with receiving deliveries, unpacking boxes, sorting incoming materials, and placing items in designated locations.\nGeneral Cleaning: Perform light cleaning duties, including sweeping, removing empty boxes, and disposing of packaging materials.\nInventory Support: Assist with basic inventory organization, counting supplies, and identifying materials that need replenishment.\nTeam Support: Complete additional warehouse-related tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor.\nSafety and Organization: Maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace and follow company safety guidelines.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nKnowledge & Skills:\nNo previous warehouse experience required; training will be provided.\nDependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.\nStrong attention to detail, particularly when packing boxes and preparing shipping labels.\nAbility to stay organized and complete tasks efficiently.\nComfortable performing physical work and remaining active throughout a shift.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively with others.\nBasic computer skills helpful for printing shipping labels and organizing shipment information.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 70 pounds, with assistance or appropriate equipment for heavier items.\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the warehouse during scheduled shifts.\nAbility to perform repetitive packing, labeling, and sorting activities.\nAbility to safely move and organize supplies and material\nWork Schedule\nPart-time position with hours scheduled based on warehouse and business needs.\nSchedule and weekly hours to be determined.\nSome flexibility in scheduling may be available.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nPackages are packed accurately and prepared for shipment on time.\nShipping labels are organized and applied correctly.\nWarehouse supplies and materials are easy to locate and properly stored.\nWork areas remain clean, organized, and safe.\nAssigned tasks are completed reliably, efficiently, and with a positive, team-oriented attitude.\nAuthority to Act:\nPerforms duties independently with general supervision, within established purchasing policies and approval limits. Recommends supplier selections and vehicle purchases for approval by the Manager, Supply Chain.
