This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise, architectural leadership, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and supportable solutions. The ideal candidate will have recent full-SDLC experience, deep experience with modern application and cloud technologies, and the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the architecture, design, and review of solutions across all layers, including application, integration, data, security, infrastructure, and cloud.\nTranslate business and functional needs into technical requirements and recommend viable solution options.\nPresent architectural designs and drive consensus among technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nProvide strategic and tactical technical leadership to identify, mitigate, and resolve project and architectural risks.\nDesign solutions across a range of architectures, including 3-tier web applications, mobile applications, and event-driven architectures.\nProduce technical design for application components, AWS cloud infrastructure, integration architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions.\nArchitect and design solutions using technologies such as Java, NodeJS, Angular, React, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.\nDesign and integrate solutions using APIs, REST, SOAP, GraphQL, MOMs, SAML, and OAuth.\nSupport hybrid architecture implementations across public cloud and on-prem environments, with experience on AWS preferred.\nEvaluate and incorporate emerging technologies, including AI platforms, IoT technologies, and vendor ecosystems such as SAP, Adobe, and Salesforce.\nCreate common frameworks, reusable libraries, and shared components for use across applications and portfolios.\nParticipate in design reviews and code reviews using current hands-on development experience across multiple technologies and languages.\nExplain and support Architecture Review Board exception requests and propose remediation plans where required.\nContribute to roadmap development and portfolio landscape documentation.\nCoach and mentor application development teams on software engineering best practices across the full SDLC.\nCore Competencies\nArchitectural thinking and solution design\nBusiness and technical translation\nStakeholder influence learning and adaptability\nRequirements\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in solution architecture and technical design.\nBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)\nRecent hands-on experience with the full SDLC within the last 3 years.\nStrong understanding of application architecture, cloud architecture, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements.\nDemonstrated ability to work across multiple concurrent projects and priorities while maintaining high-quality delivery.\nStrong communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nProven ability to defend architectural choices and gain alignment in complex technical discussions.\nExperience with modern technology stacks such as Java, NodeJS, Angular, React, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.\nExperience with AWS or hybrid cloud/on-prem architecture.\nStrong knowledge of APIs, middleware, authentication, and integration technologies.\nAbility to learn and apply new technologies and advanced architecture/design patterns quickly.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with AI and IoT technology stacks.\nExperience with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Adobe, and Salesforce.\nExperience contributing to roadmap and portfolio strategy documentation.\nExperience handling Architecture Review Board processes and exception remediation.\nExperience building enterprise reusable frameworks and
