The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure platform, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. A key focus will be continuous improvement of TP ICAP Cloud Platform estate.\nThis role requires a deep understanding of AWS services and a solid foundation in DevOps methodologies.\nRole Responsibilities\nEngineer and deploy highly available, scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS.\nDevelop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Gitlab\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform or CloudFormation\nContinually evaluating how we operating on cloud platforms - Input into how TP ICAP can continuously improve our cloud maturity.\nOptimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, security, and resilience.\nDesign and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure system resilience.\nTroubleshoot complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.\nEnsure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).\nStay current with the latest AWS services, DevOps tools, and industry best practices.\nExperience / Competences\n2 + years’ experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on AWS.\nStrong understanding of network architecture and network security best practices in AWS.\nUsage of Jira / Confluence\nProficiency in DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Nexus, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.\nExpertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.\nStrong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.\nOperating Systems; Windows Server, Amazon Linux, RHEL, Ubuntu\nGood understanding of security best practices for AWS Services implementation.\nIn depth knowledge in the following AWS Services - EC2 / RDS / VPC / IAM / Transit Gateway / Direct Connect / Cloud Watch / S3 / EBS / EKS / AWS Backup / AWS System Manager / AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery Service\nGood understanding of security best practices for AWS Services implementation.\nExperience in designing and implementing resilient systems, including disaster recovery and business continuity planning.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\nAbility to work independently\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nPreferred Qualifications/Skills:\nAWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).\nKnowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).\nKnowledge of Cloud Native Application Protection Platforms (such as wiz.io, Prisma Cloud, etc)\nNot The Perfect Fit?\nConcerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
