Working closely with Data Engineering, Product, Commercial and Technology teams, you will leverage advanced analytics, cloud technologies and Generative AI capabilities to support the evolution of our data-driven product suite.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing function at the forefront of financial data innovation, helping to shape the future of analytics, intelligence and AI-powered solutions across the organisation.\nRole Responsibilities\nDesign, develop and maintain robust Python-based applications for financial data analysis, transformation, enrichment and automation.\n\nBuild scalable data science solutions that extract actionable insights from large and complex financial datasets.\n\nDevelop interactive dashboards, monitoring frameworks and visualisation tools to support strategic and operational decision-making.\n\nEnhance, support and continuously improve existing data applications, data quality frameworks and analytical platforms.\n\nCollaborate with Data Engineers, Product Managers and commercial stakeholders to ensure the scalability, reliability and usability of data products and models.\n\nApply software engineering best practices, including modular development, code reviews, automated testing, version control and CI/CD methodologies.\n\nDesign, develop and maintain Generative AI solutions that enhance internal processes, analytical capabilities and customer-facing products.\n\nLeverage AWS cloud technologies and services to build scalable AI and machine learning applications, making full use of innovative capabilities available through our strategic AWS partnership.\n\nEvaluate emerging AI, machine learning and data science technologies, identifying opportunities to improve products, processes and client outcomes.\n\nContribute to the ongoing evolution of Parameta Solutions' data science and AI capabilities, helping establish best practices and technical standards across the team.\n\nExperience / Competences\nEssential\nMaster’s or PhD in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or another quantitative discipline.\n\nProven experience developing production-grade Python applications within a data science, machine learning or quantitative analytics environment.\n\nDemonstrated software engineering fundamentals including object-oriented programming, modular design patterns and version control.\n\nExperience building and deploying analytical, machine learning or AI-driven solutions in a commercial environment.\n\nAdvanced SQL skills with experience querying and manipulating large-scale datasets.\n\nExperience working with modern data and engineering platforms such as Snowflake, Airflow, Docker and CI/CD pipelines.\n\nExperience developing or integrating Generative AI, Large Language Model (LLM) or machine learning solutions.\n\nDemonstrated understanding of cloud-based architectures and services, particularly within AWS environments.\n\nExcellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.\n\nDesired\nIndustry experience in a computational or quantitative data science role.\n\nExperience developing customer-facing analytics, recommendation engines or AI-powered products.\n\nKnowledge of MLOps practices and model deployment, monitoring and governance frameworks.\n\nExperience working within agile product and engineering environments.\n\nPassion for emerging technologies and a commitment to continuous learning and innovation.\n\nJob Band & Level\nProfessional / 5\n\n#PARAMETA #LI-ASO #LI-Hybrid\nNot The Perfect Fit?\nConcerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
