The platforms are built using a combination of in-house and vendor-based software. The Role reports to the CFT Engineering Manager.\nRole Responsibilities\nA ‘hands-on’ manager who will develop software, line manage developers and influence architectural decisions.\n\nBuild and Review client connectivity applications to maximise maintainability, stability, performance and scalability.\n\nBe a team player and closely work with Architecture, QA Team, Business Analysts, Product Managers, Project Manager / Agile Scrum Lead, Support Teams and other Stake Holders.\n\nWork in a collaborative environment as part of a close team.\n\nManage Releases and Production Rollouts with Support teams.\n\nHands on involvement supporting production issues.\n\nExperience / Competences\nEssential\nExperience with leading a team of developers\nConducting Appraisals and Technical Reviews.\n\nBroking / Trading / Banking business domain e.g. FX and Fixed Income\n\nStrong communication skills.\n\nExperience with building systems using FIX Protocol.\n\nSenior-level experience with Java.\n\nExperience with version control systems e.g. GitLab, GitHub.\n\nDeploying and configuring applications running in Amazon Web Service (AWS) [EC2, ELB, EKS, AMI].\n\nDeveloping software using Agile methodologies.\n\nLevel 3 Support for Production systems.\n\nDelivering software using SAFe/Agile frameworks.\n\nKnowledge of Observability technologies such as Grafana.\n\nDesired\nExperience using AI tools in a Development Environment e.g. AWS Kiro\n\nSenior level experience with a scripting language such as Python.\n\nRapid Addition Platform or other FIX Messaging Hub.\n\nExperience with DevOps/build technologies such Ansible, Jenkins, Maven and Groovy.\n\nExperience with database technologies with SQL.\n\nExperience with messaging platforms e.g. Solace.\n\nRole Band & Level: Manager, 7\n#LI-Hybrid #LI-MID\nNot The Perfect Fit?\nConcerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
