This position requires strong technical expertise, a passion for creating intuitive interfaces, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The role involves driving best practices in front-end development, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to architectural decisions that shape the future of our products.\nRole Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain high-quality front-end applications using modern frameworks.\n\nCollaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive and accessible interfaces.\n\nOptimize application performance for speed and scalability.\n\nEnsure code quality through best practices, including testing and code reviews.\n\nWork closely with back-end engineers to integrate APIs and services.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve front-end issues across multiple browsers and devices.\n\nContribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy for front-end development.\n\nMentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing within the team.\n\nStay updated on emerging front-end technologies and industry trends.\n\nExperience / Competences\nEssential\nProven experience developing desktop user interfaces using Java Swing.\n\nWorking knowledge of the Spring Boot framework.\n\nWorking knowledge of the JDBC API for database interaction.\n\nExperience or familiarity with the Solace Event Broker.\n\nFamiliarity with RESTful APIs and system integration practices.\n\nExperience with build and dependency management tools such as Apache Maven.\n\nUnderstanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).\n\nExperience using feature and bug tracking tools such as Jira.\n\nStrong problem-solving and debugging skills.\n\nStrong communication and collaboration abilities.\n\nDesired\nExperience in front-end development using frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.\n\nExperience with TypeScript and modern state management libraries (e.g., Redux).\n\nExperience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.\n\nKnowledge of performance optimization techniques for web applications.\n\nExperience working with modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Kiro, Amazon Q, or similar) to improve developer productivity.\n\nExposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.\n\nKnowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.\n\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., AWS, Docker).\n\nUnderstanding of security principles in front-end development.\n\nExperience working in Agile environments.\n\nAbility to contribute to design discussions and propose innovative solutions.\n\nRole Band & Level\nManager, 6\n\nSalary\n$136,000 to $175,000\n\nCommensurate with experience\n\nNot The Perfect Fit?\nConcerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
