The Company offers a value-added approach including research and execution capacity.\nRole Overview\nWe are seeking a highly motivated Intern to join our European Derivatives team in Paris for a six-month placement. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to global financial markets and develop a strong understanding of the role of an Interdealer Broker within a fast-paced trading environment.\nWorking closely with experienced brokers and support teams, you will gain insight into inflation-linked products, market dynamics, trade lifecycle management, and pricing tools while contributing to day-to-day business activities.\nFrom this role you will get:\nPractical experience within a leading global financial markets business.\nExposure to inflation-linked products and derivatives markets.\nOpportunity to work alongside experienced brokers and market professionals.\nDevelopment of technical, analytical, and commercial skills in a real-world trading environment.\nA collaborative and international working environment, based in our offices in central Paris.\nRole Responsibilities\nMonitor and follow up on trades across a range of products, including bonds, swaps, and options.\nAssist with trade capture and booking activities, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.\nDevelop and automate pricing tools and analytics using Python and other technologies.\nSupport the maintenance and enhancement of existing pricing models and systems.\nLiaise with Middle Office and Back Office teams to resolve trade and operational queries.\nAnalyse market and trading data to support business decision-making.\nContribute to process improvement and automation initiatives across the desk.\nExperience / Competences\nEssential\nStrong interest in financial markets, macroeconomics, and fixed income products.\nFluent in both French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong programming skills in Python.\nGood understanding of SQL and relational databases.\nAbility to manipulate, validate, and analyse large datasets.\nHigh level of technical aptitude and ability to work independently.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel.\nDesired\nPrevious experience within Financial Services, FinTech, or a similar environment.\nCurrently studying for a degree at a Business School, Engineering School, or a related discipline.\nKnowledge of financial instruments such as bonds, swaps, and derivatives would be advantageous.\nFamiliarity with data visualisation or automation tools is beneficial.\nRole Band & Level:\nSupport / 1\n#LCM #LI-Onsite #LI-INT\nNot The Perfect Fit?\nConcerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
