Working as part of the Global Payroll Organisation (GPO), the role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end payroll processing, partnering closely with HR, Reward, Global Mobility, Finance, and external payroll providers to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.\nRole Responsibilities\nJob Duties\nProvide local experience and expertise, whilst supporting the Global Payroll Organisation (GPO) model\nManage a local Payroll team, ensuring the required support and cross training is provided\nAccurate and timely processing of all payrolls\nProvide advice and guidance to staff, management and HR\nEnsure all international relocations are processed accurately through payroll\nWork closely with internal teams (HR, Reward, Global Mobility, Finance)\nLiaise with staff and management on payroll related queries, escalating when necessary\nContribute to ad-hoc reporting and projects when required\nLiaise with external payroll providers ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payrolls\nShare awards and the associated payroll processing\nActively support the setup of new payrolls in new locations\nProactively identify opportunities for automation/process improvement\nSupport Audit requests\nMaintain an up-to-date knowledge of company and legislative requirements in TP ICAP locations whilst advising colleagues on the impact\n\nProvide input into team objectives and contribute to the year-end appraisal process\nExperience / Competences\nEssential\nProven experience in end-to-end payroll processing, ideally across multiple APAC jurisdictions.\nStrong understanding of payroll legislation, compliance requirements and payroll controls.\nExperience working with external payroll providers to deliver accurate and timely payroll outcomes.\nDemonstrated ability to manage complex payroll activities, including international assignments, relocations and cross-border payroll matters.\nStrong HR/payroll systems capability, with a focus on data accuracy, employee record integrity and payroll input validation.\nAbility to advise employees, HR and management on payroll-related queries in a clear, professional and service-focused manner.\nExperience supporting payroll audits, reconciliations, reporting and issue escalation.\nStrong attention to detail, analytical capability and ability to work to strict payroll deadlines.\nCollaborative working style, with experience partnering across HR, Reward, Global Mobility and Finance teams.\nContinuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for automation, simplification and process improvement.\nAbility to support junior team members through coaching, knowledge sharing and cross-training.\n\nDesired\nExperience in a regional or global payroll environment, preferably within a GPO, shared services or finance operations model.\nExperience supporting new payroll implementations, payroll transitions or payroll provider changes.\nExposure to share awards, Sell to Cover processes, expatriate payroll, tax equalisation or foreign tax credit relief arrangements.\nExperience in financial services, professional services or another regulated environment.\nAdvanced Excel, reporting and payroll reconciliation capability.\nExperience working across Hong Kong, Singapore, Philippines and/or broader APAC payroll environments.\nJob Band & Level\nProfessional / 5\n#LI-Hybrid #LI-ASSO\nNot The Perfect Fit?\nConcerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
