The Client Facing Technology Senior QA Automation Engineer is responsible for the software quality standard of the Client Facing Technology services.\nIt is imperative that the software we develop is tested and fit for release into Production. Our client Facing Technology is the backbone of our Electronic business and as such it requires rigorous functional and performance testing. The Senior QA Automation Engineer is central to ensuring the quality of our software. This role will include ongoing automated testing, making enhancements to the existing automated testing framework.\nRole Responsibilities:\nDesign, write, execute and maintain automated test cases.\nMaintain and enhance existing automation tests and framework.\nProduce test cases, test scripts and test data-based requirements.\nTake the product functional specifications, and the software requirements specifications, and to estimate the work involved within the testing cycle of each product.\nEnsure that the testing produces a high level of quality for the product releases.\nIdentify and effectively document issues found then track those issues through internal defect tracking tools.\nGive guidance and support to internal support functions through the project lifecycle.\nLiaise with business analysts, development team and project managers on all aspects of testing.\nLiaise with support teams and offshore development teams.\nReport on the status of QA to project stakeholders.\nAble to conduct internal demonstration to stakeholders.\nFulfil additional / ad hoc duties as requested to meet the needs of the business.\nOccasionally Manual testing will be required for systems owned by Client Facing Technology.\nExperience / Competences:\nEssential\n5+ years of experience in automated testing in a global financial services company or vendor using Cucumber / Gherkin / Selenium / FIX4J\n5+ years of experience and knowledge of FX products and instruments including FIX protocol and market data\nProficiency with computer technologies including Linux, SQL, Messaging & Distributed Systems\nAble to work independently, and take ownership in ensuring high-quality products for users\nKnowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)\nDesired:\nUse of AI Tooling e.g. AWS Kiro, Claude Code, Copilot to aid and generate test automation.\nProgramming languages such as Java or C# to build Automation Frameworks.\nKnowledge of CI/CD Technologies e.g. Jenkins.\nKnowledge of non-functional testing and Tools.\nExperience of delivering platforms and services across multiple teams\nExperience of clouds services and continuous integration\nJob Band & Level\nManager / 6\n#LI-Hybrid #LI-MID\nNot The Perfect Fit?\nConcerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
