We work as one to achieve our vision of being the world’s most trusted, innovative, liquidity and data solutions specialist.\nRole Overview\nAs a Software Engineer at TP ICAP you will be part of a talented team delivering business critical software for the internal broking division and their external customer base.\nYou will work within an Agile environment, from design through to implementation, with a strong focus on continuous improvement whilst working collaboratively as part of self-organising, cross-functional team with a focus on continuous integration and deployment.\nRole Responsibilities\nBuild, test and maintain frontend features using React and TypeScript.\nFollow established component, state-management and data-flow patterns.\nCreate responsive, accessible interfaces for data-intensive workflows.\nIntegrate with GraphQL APIs, including real-time subscriptions.\nWrite automated unit, integration and browser tests.\nParticipate in design discussions, code reviews and technical investigations.\nInvestigate defects and production issues, seeking support where necessary.\nTake responsibility for the quality and delivery of assigned work.\nCommunicate progress, risks and dependencies clearly.\nContribute to documentation and continuous improvement.\nExperience / Competences\nEssential\nCommercial experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.\nExperience building reusable, maintainable frontend components.\nExperience with GraphQL queries, mutations and subscriptions.\nExperience using AG Grid to build data-intensive user interfaces.\nUnderstanding of state management using Redux or a similar library.\nExperience writing automated unit, integration or browser tests.\nUnderstanding of frontend performance, accessibility and web security.\nExperience with Git and modern frontend development tools.\nGood problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.\nDesired\nExperience with WebSockets or other real-time data technologies.\nExperience using Material UI, Ant Design or another component library.\nFamiliarity with monorepos, Storybook and frontend observability.\nExposure to financial markets or other data-intensive applications.\nFamiliarity with C#/.NET, relational databases or AWS\nBand & Level\nProfessional 5\nUp to $149,000 Commensurate with experience.\n#LI-Hybrid\nNot The Perfect Fit?\nConcerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
