We work as one to achieve our vision of being the world’s most trusted, innovative, liquidity and data solutions specialist.\nRole Overview\nThis role sits within the Trade Surveillance Technology team and responsibilities will include helping to define, design and deliver strategic Market Abuse Trade Surveillance solutions across Trade and pre-Trade business activity.\nThe role will involve close collaboration with our Compliance Surveillance stakeholders and upstream system/data owners and working with vendor solution developers as well as in-house development and QA colleagues to deliver solutions.\nThe environment is one of continuous change as the firm acquires new businesses, trades new products, seeks to improve the quality of the surveillance coverage and keeps abreast of changes in the many applications from which data is consumed.\nThe team are utilising the SAFE Agile framework for all our work and the solution is deployed on AWS.\nRole Responsibilities\nDefine business functional and non-functional requirements for Market Abuse Trade Surveillance with the Compliance Surveillance team and the Product Owner\nDocument these requirements in sufficient detail for development and QA partners and work with these teams to ensure on-time delivery of a solution that meets business need\nDefine acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and support UAT activities to ensure changes are tested effectively\nLiaise with upstream application and data owners to understand changes on their platforms and to raise Surveillance data requirements\nPromote the uptake of AI within the Business Analysis function within Trade Surveillance Technology, challenging the current operating model and looking to increase the team’s throughput\nIdentify, promote and deliver innovative AI driven solutions for our Compliance Surveillance stakeholders\nLiaise with vendor technical staff to understand the capabilities and limitations of the third-party surveillance solution utilised\nProvide effort estimates of work to feed into the planning process and engage actively in the Agile processes\nExperience / Competences\nEssential:\n5+ years in a Business Analyst role\nStrong understanding of the trade lifecycle (pre and post-trade)\nStrong understanding of financial transactional data and associated reference data\nExperience working with surveillance or regulatory platforms\nExperience with SQL and database querying\nStrong data analysis skills\nExperience with data mapping and message protocols (formats such as JSON/XML/FIX)\nExperience of working across multiple asset classes (e.g. Rates, Credit, Equities, Commodities & FX)\nExperience of using AI to enhance and support the Business Analyst workflow\nExperience of delivering AI based solutions\nExperience in a BA role on Agile software development or data integration projects\nSkilled at collaborating with multiple stakeholder groups\nDesired:\nFamiliarity with various Market Abuse Trade Surveillance models\nFamiliarity with MAR, MIFID II or similar regulations\nExperience of calibrating Market Abuse Surveillance models\nExperience working with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) controls\nExperience working with Exchange Traded Derivative (ETD) data\nExperience working with Market Data providers\nExperience building dashboards in Qlik or PowerBI\nFamiliarity with the business model for an Inter-Dealer Broker\nExperience of working with a third-party vendor solution\nUnderstanding of the AWS deployment model\nRole Band & Level: Manager, 6\nRole Band & Level: Manager / 7\n#LI-Hybrid #LI-MID\nNot The Perfect Fit?\nConcerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
