In this role, you will help ensure the quality of TP-Link's global websites, web applications, and AI-powered customer experiences, which reach millions of users across dozens of countries and languages.\nYou will drive quality throughout the development lifecycle-from reviewing requirements and identifying risks to designing tests, expanding automation coverage, investigating failures, and supporting release decisions. The work ranges from product pages and content-management platforms to AI-powered search and support assistants. You also have the opportunity to contribute to testing the cloud services and APIs behind these experiences. Throughout, you'll work closely with software engineers, product managers, designers, and senior quality engineers.\nThis role is ideal for a quality engineer who enjoys both breadth and depth: someone comfortable moving between browser-based UI testing, backend API validation, and automation, and who wants to grow expertise across web and cloud technologies.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop risk-based test strategies and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for websites, web applications, content-management systems, APIs, and supporting cloud services.\nParticipate in requirements reviews and design discussions to clarify acceptance criteria, identify risks early, and improve product testability.\nBuild and maintain automated UI and API tests using Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript and frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent tools. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.\nValidate backend APIs, service integrations, database behavior, and data integrity using API tools, code-based test frameworks, and SQL.\nInvestigate failures and isolate root causes using browser developer tools, network traces, application logs, system telemetry, and database queries.\nPerform release validation across browsers, devices, and screen sizes, including responsive UI, visual regression, functional, and end-to-end testing to ensure seamless product rollouts.\nConduct web performance, load, and accessibility testing, monitoring metrics like Core Web Vitals and ensuring compliance with WCAG guidelines.\nProduce clear test reports, defect analyses, and go/no-go risk assessments to support release decisions.\nAdvocate for QA best practices, test-code quality, and continuous improvement, using AI-assisted tools where appropriate to improve engineering productivity.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.\n2-5 years of experience in software quality engineering, with significant experience testing web applications.\nSolid understanding of software testing principles, test design techniques, and the software development lifecycle.\nHands-on experience testing web applications across browsers, devices, and screen sizes, using browser developer tools to inspect network requests, console errors, and page behavior.\nExperience developing and maintaining automated UI and API tests in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.\nExperience testing RESTful APIs with tools such as Postman or code-based test frameworks, and validating data using SQL.\nWorking knowledge of how websites are built and delivered, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP, redirects, caching, and content-management systems.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Jira or similar defect-tracking tools.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain quality risks and test results clearly to engineers and non-technical stakeholders.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience owning quality for a web product, website migration, or CMS platform from planning through release.\nExperience testing SEO elements, structured data (Schema.org), analytics and tag implementations, or localized content across many locales.\nExperience testing AI or LLM-powered features such as chatbots, search, or recommendations, including approaches for evaluating non-deterministic output.\nExperience with web performance and accessibility testing tools such as Lighthouse, WebPageTest, or axe.\nExperience testing applications deployed on AWS or other public cloud platforms, or backend services built on microservices.\nFamiliarity with visual regression testing tools such as Percy, Applitools, or Chromatic.\nExperience leveraging AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted testing solutions to improve testing efficiency and engineering productivity.\nExperience with networking products, smart home technologies, connected device ecosystems, or e-commerce websites.\nWhy Join TP-Link\nShape the quality of TP-Link’s global websites and web experiences, used by customers in over 170 countries.\nWork across web and cloud technologies, from browser-based applications to the APIs and services behind them.\nHelp define how the team tests emerging AI-powered features such as conversational assistants and intelligent search.\nBuild scalable automation using modern frameworks and AI-assisted engineering tools.\nCollaborate with talented engineering, product, and design teams across global locations.\nGrow your career with broad ownership and visible impact on TP-Link’s next generation of web and cloud experiences.\nTP-Link is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
