It covers all aspects of finance, with a primary focus on working alongside the Head of Management accounts as well as supporting intercompany accounting and all aspects of capital expenditure.\nQualifications and Experience\nCandidates should hold, or be currently pursuing, a recognised accounting qualification, with recent and relevant finance experience.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong IT skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or SAP are essential.\nCore Competencies Attention to detail, analytical problem-solving, risk assessment, and strong time-management skills.\nCore Duties:\nApprovals & Financial Control\nInvoice approval at AP level, with a focus on capital expenditure and intercompany invoices.\n\nSupport the Finance Team with payment input onto the banking platforms\n\nSupport the Head of Management Accounts with cashflow forecasting\n\nMonth-End Close Activities\nAccruals and provisions\n\nReconciliations and controls (capex, passthrough costs and other Trial Balance transactions)\n\nReallocations and cost attribution\n\nDevelop an in-depth understanding of intercompany transactions to support the shared services team\n\nReporting Responsibilities\nONS statistical reporting\n\nSupport with VAT return preparations\n\nMonthly Group reporting and quarterly intercompany reporting and reconciliations\n\nRelationships\nWork closely with the Financial Control team and provide cover when required\n\nCollaborate with Shared Services teams to understand O2C and P2P cycles and their impact on the business\n\nBuild strong working relationships with the wider business\n\nSystems & Process Ownership\nSupport maintenance of approval flows and new user creation on the ERP system\n\nMaintain and update process documentation\n\nDrive automation and continuous improvement initiatives\n\nCompliance & Internal Governance\nSupport audit activities\n\nMaintain policy governance\n\nMaintain awareness of any taxation impacts, including VAT treatment, and highlight potential tax issues to ensure compliance with HMRC requirements and internal policies\n\nIf you have
