The Bobby Weed and Raymond Floyd design is a golf course that will test your skills while dazzling you with views of the surrounding mountains, canyons, and the famed Las Vegas skyline.\nTee up your career as a part of our team with the TPC Network!\nThe Irrigation Technician III is specially trained to operate specialized equipment and/or to perform specific tasks relative to the maintenance of the golf course irrigation system.QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma or equivalent education\nMust have six months experience as an Irrigation Technician II or at least two years of experience in similar position\nMust have the ability to operate golf course irrigation systems and golf course machinery\nRESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES\nPerform all duties and/or tasks relative to the Irrigation Technician I and II positions\nMaintain logs for the operation, maintenance, and gas usage of each machine\nPerform daily tasks necessary to keep the maintenance facility clean, organized, and a safe working environment\nClean machinery after each use\nInspect all equipment and report any deficiencies to the Equipment Manager\nPerform other functions and routine irrigation systems repairs as directed by the Director of Golf Course Maintenance Operations, Assistant Golf Course Superintendent I, Assistant Golf Course Superintendent II or Irrigation Foreman\nBe thoroughly trained in proper procedures required to perform each task before performing such tasks.Follow the guidelines in the Golf Course Maintenance Operations Manual for each specific task\nPerform specific task relative to Irrigation Technician I, II, and III training, including:\nAdvanced pipe repair\nThorough product knowledge of all parts and irrigation inventory used on the golf course\nBasic electrical repair knowledge\nPerform basic pump station repairs and maintenance\nThorough knowledge of central irrigation control programming\nBasic irrigation system design and lay-out knowledge\nBasic drainage, design, and installation knowledge, and locate pipes and wires with location instruments\nCommunicate on regular basis via a two-way radio system\nRequired to wear personal protective clothing and/or use protective equipment to comply with established safety operating standards\nSpecial projects or other duties as assigned\nPay Range- $18.50- $20.00 per hour\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a variety of outdoor weather conditions.Position is very active and requires lifting, pulling or pushing up to or over 50 pounds, moving and/or lift items with awkward weights.
