The opportunities are plenty for those who are ready to accept the challenge.\nCould that be you?\nYour opportunity:\nThe Category Manager - Networks reports to the Head of Network Procurement within the Procurement Team. You will work collaboratively to manage commercial engagements and drive value for TPG Telecom Networks team.\nYou'll make impact by:\nManage the portfolio of vendors and their engagements across the Network portfolio working closely with the relevant business owners to deliver optimal value to TPG. \nIdentify and manage the delivery of savings and cost reduction initiatives without compromising business objectives or quality or service/scope. \nLead commercial negotiations with vendors to ensure optimum outcomes whilst ensuring that our dealings with vendors meet the highest professional and ethical standards. \nManage and lead RFx processes, negotiations and conclusion of contracts with suppliers working with Legal and internal stakeholders to ensure the business requirements are met. \nComplete regular reviews of Vendor arrangements to ensure the fulfilment of all contractual obligations, the delivery of business value and the resolution of any disputes or non-compliance via the governance process. \nProvide commercial advice in relation to managing the lifecycle of vendors and their contractual agreements. \nResponsibility for maintaining a consolidated vendor base, leveraging scale and value and managing non-performing or redundant vendors.\nIdentify and evaluate potential future suppliers to be included in future RFx processes \nReview and approval of purchase requisitions within certain categories to ensure orders adhere to supplier agreements. \nWork collaboratively with all TPG key stakeholders within the OneTech - Networks business areas and other key functions \nSupport business owners to ensure a successful transition of vendors into or out of TPG. \nDemonstrating best practice procurement and implementing category strategies across various business areas and spend categories that will support the delivery of the TPG business strategies.\nSupport initiatives related to procurement transformation processes and systems improvement.\nWe are all responsible for taking reasonable care of our own safety and wellbeing at work, and to avoid adversely affecting the safety and wellbeing of another person at work. \nAlways be on the lookout to improve the way we work, and speak up with suggestions for a better way, with the aim of exceeding our customers’ expectations. \nProtect the brand, reputation and profitability of TPG by maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and availability of its information assets and information systems. \nBe familiar with policies and procedures, as well as completing any associated training, as communicated or made available on the intranet and our learning systems.\nWhat you’ll bring:\nProcurement Experience: Strong commercial and negotiation skills with procurement experience in the Telecoms industry. Proven ability to lead complex RFx processes. Category management experience desirable\nEducation and Experience: Commercial degree qualified or equivalent desirable. Experience/qualification in engineering or proven experience in the field desirable. \nSupplier Performance Management: Experience managing complex supplier contracts and supplier performance. \nAnalytical Skills: Proven reasoning skills capabilities. \nResults orientated: Track record for delivering against demanding targets, with emphasis on costs savings, cost avoidance and improvement in working capital. \nStakeholder Management: Demonstrable record of effective engagement with stakeholders and a well-developed ability to communicate and present to senior management and executive levels. \nCommunication Skills: Well-developed written and verbal communication and presentation skills. \nPolicies and Processes: Sound understanding of purchasing policies and processes. \nERP experience: Experience in ERP and P2P solutions.
