As a Senior Engineer - Mobile Voice, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of the TPG Mobile Network, with a key focus on the IMS domain. In this role, you will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, including TPG technology teams, the wider TPG organisation, and relevant external vendors and partners.\nYou'll make impact by:\nDesign, implementation and engineering support tasks in the TPG Mobile Voice Domain (IMS). \nManage and deliver system changes including software upgrades, security patching and configuration needed to update, maintain and keep secure the Mobile Core systems and architectures\nSupport TPG with subject matter knowledge in the Mobile Voice Engineer Voice and Messaging Domain’s with a key focus on the following network systems:IMS Core, MTAS, SBG, CSCF, IP WORKS, AFG, EMM, MRS (MGW), STP, SCP, DRA, Including legacy MSC and MGW\n\nPerform in both test (model) and production environmentso Drive allocated projects to completion\no Design changes\no Execution and review of test cases\no Implementation/testing of changes\no Submission of designs and implementations to review boards\no Peer reviews of designs and implementations\no Completion of operational readiness activities and handover to operations\no Management all aspects of small to medium deliveries including raising of CR’s, coordination with other teams, scheduling of work. \n\nCreate and Update:Solution Documentation, High Level Designs, Detailed Designs, Requirements documentation, Configuration/Data Fill, Implementation Plans including method of procedures (MOP), Test plans and cases, Specifications\n\nWhat you’ll bring:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or Telecommunications or Engineering or closely related discipline\n5 or more years of relevant experience of mobile core network delivery and/or support.\nProven design and implementation experience in a Mobile Voice Core environment. \nDetailed knowledge of IMS Call Flows and relevant protocols and 3GPP Specifications, such as SIGTRAN, MAP, CAP, ISUP SIP/RTP, Diameter\nAdvanced knowledge of Mobile Core Network architecture, traffic and signalling flows, including International and National Roaming Architectures\nBe familiar with relevant Australian Government regulation and codes related to the Mobile Networks \nStrong proficiency in data analysis using tools such as Splunk and Elastic. \nStrong Linux System administration skills\nScripting knowledge using regular expressions and detailed understanding of SMM rulesets .\nIdeally, you will also have:\nExperience with an Ericsson and/or Nokia Core equipment or IMS/VoLTE would be an advantage.\nExperience with machine learning or AI-based systems highly desirable.\nWhat's in it for you?\nFlexible hybrid way of working (from home and office)\n‘Stay Connected Mobile’ - Access to a free mobile plan\n‘Stay Connected NBN’ - Access to a free, high-speed NBN plan (up to 500 Mbps)\n‘Your Leave’ - additional leave to be used whenever you like - every year\nAccess to TPG Learning Hub platform and internal development opportunities\nAccess to Corporate Partner Discounts\nDon’t meet every single requirement?
