This role is responsible for overseeing receiving, inventory management, storage, shipping, and production support functions to maintain uninterrupted operations and support manufacturing goals.\nThrough strong leadership and a continuous improvement mindset, the Warehouse Supervisor develops teams, drives inventory accuracy, optimizes warehouse processes, and partners with cross-functional departments to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and operational performance objectives.\nResponsibilities\nLead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, material movement, and shipping activities.\nEnsure timely and accurate delivery of materials to support production schedules and customer requirements.\nSupervise, coach, and develop warehouse personnel while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.\nMaintain inventory accuracy through effective inventory controls, cycle counts, audits, and transaction management.\nMonitor material flow and warehouse performance to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and operational effectiveness.\nCoordinate staffing, equipment, and resources to support warehouse and manufacturing requirements.\nEnsure compliance with all safety, quality, environmental, and company policies and procedures.\nInvestigate inventory discrepancies and operational issues, implementing corrective actions and sustainable solutions.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on warehouse organization, inventory management, productivity, and cost reduction.\nCollaborate with Production, Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure material availability and support overall plant objectives.\nMonitor key performance indicators and develop action plans to improve warehouse performance and service levels.\nSupport employee development, performance management, workforce planning, and succession planning initiatives.\nLeadership Scope\nDirect Reports\nWarehouse Associates\nMaterial Handlers\nForklift Operators\nOther assigned warehouse personnel\nReporting Relationship\nReports directly to the Planning Manager, Supply Chain Manager, or Operations Manager\nAccountability\nThe Warehouse Supervisor is accountable for:\nInventory accuracy\nMaterial availability and delivery performance\nWarehouse safety and compliance\nShipping and receiving execution\nWarehouse productivity and efficiency\nTeam development and performance\nMaterial flow optimization\nContinuous improvement results\nQualifications\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred; equivalent combinations of education, training, and warehouse leadership experience will be considered. \n3+ years of warehouse, inventory control, logistics, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment, including team leadership experience and knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling, shipping, receiving, and inventory management preferred. \nExperience with ERP, warehouse management, and inventory management systems, including cycle counting, inventory control practices, and materials planning processes. \nDemonstrated ability to lead teams through coaching, accountability, employee engagement, performance management, and employee development. \nStrong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills. \nExperience utilizing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies preferred. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel. \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.\nAdditional Information\nThis position requires regular interaction with Production, Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure the effective flow of materials throughout the facility.
