Successful candidates are dependable, mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and enjoy solving technical challenges involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.\nThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment, machinery, tooling, and facility systems. This position plays a key role in minimizing downtime, supporting production goals, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.\nSuccessful candidates are dependable, mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and committed to continuous improvement.\nKey Responsibilities\nTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.\nPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.\nRepair, maintain, and install motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, tooling, and other production equipment.\nPerform inspections and identify potential equipment issues before failures occur.\nAssist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.\nConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce recurring equipment failures.\nPerform software updates and configure new or replacement electrical devices as required.\nRead and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical documentation.\nMaintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, repair logs, and preventative maintenance documentation.\nSupport production teams by responding quickly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests.\nEnsure compliance with all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental standards.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED required; technical training, vocational certification, or an Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related field preferred, along with two or more years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment; equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.\n\nExperience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.\nBasic understanding of PLCs, motor controls, sensors, and industrial automation systems preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.\nExperience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.\nStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.\nPhysical & Work Environment Requirements\nCandidates must be able to:\nWork in an industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, humidity, fiberglass dust, noise, and industrial chemicals.\nSafely work in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment while managing multiple priorities.\nWork independently and as part of a team.\nWork overtime and shifts up to 12 hours as business needs require.\nLift and carry up to 50 pounds.\nFrequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb ladders and stairs, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.\nUse manual, electric, and pneumatic hand tools on a regular basis.\nWear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, protective clothing, hearing protection, and respirators.\nWhy Join TPI?\nCompetitive pay and benefits package.\nCareer growth and advancement opportunities.\nHands-on work with advanced manufacturing equipment and technology.\nCollaborative and safety-focused work environment.\nOpportunity to contribute to the renewable energy industry and build products that make a global impact.\nJoin TPI Composites and be part of a team that is helping build a more sustainable future while developing a rewarding career in industrial maintenance.\nTPI Composites is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
