This role is ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys problem-solving, hands-on technical work, and leading repair activities that directly impact product quality and customer satisfaction.\nAs an NCR Technician, you will play a critical role in evaluating non-conforming components, developing repair solutions, training team members, and ensuring repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nAnalyze non-conforming wind turbine blade components and determine appropriate repair or reconstruction solutions.\nReview engineering drawings, specifications, and repair instructions to identify corrective actions.\nDevelop, perform, and communicate repair procedures and work instructions.\nLead and support repair activities within manufacturing facilities and at customer field locations.\nTrain and mentor NCR Associates, on repair techniques, quality standards, and safety requirements.\nComplete and maintain repair documentation, travel records, and time reporting accurately.\nPromote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nPartner with engineering, quality, and operations teams to resolve technical issues and improve repair processes. \nRequired Qualifications\nAssociate degrees in a technical field, supervisory field, or equivalent experience, preferred, along with 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, field service, composites, quality, repair, or related technical operations.\nDemonstrated technical competencies required by NCR certification standards.\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, engineering documents, and repair procedures to identify and implement effective solutions.\n\nStrong attention to detail, quality, and safety mindset, paired with effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate across operations, engineering, quality, and customer teams.\n\nAbility to train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to associates and repair teams.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business software applications.\nValid driver's license.\nAbility to obtain and maintain required certifications, including: Sky Climber\nANSA (Tractel)\nFirst Aid/CPR/BBP\nConfined Space\nOSHA 10-Hour\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience in wind energy, composites, blade repair, manufacturing, or field service operations.\nCurrent passport or ability to obtain one for occasional international travel.\nExperience leading repair projects, technical troubleshooting efforts, or training initiatives.\nPhysical Requirements\nCapable of working on the manufacturing floor for extended periods.\n\nAdaptable to industrial, outdoor, and field-service environments.\n\nWillingness to travel as needed to support repair and customer service activities.\n\nAvailable to work overtime, including 50+ hours per week, based on business demands.\n\nWhy Join TPI?\nAt TPI, you'll have the opportunity to work on industry-leading renewable energy products while developing specialized technical expertise in wind turbine blade repair and reconstruction.
