Their primary role involves identifying, negotiating with, and contracting venues for artists.\n ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:\nSourcing Venues: Securing venues across the nation that align with the artist needs for size and tour routing. Research new venues to work with. Build relationships with venue contacts. Will be responsible for booking multiple tours at once under a deadline.\n\nBuilding Offer Letters: Negotiating with venues in regards to rent, technical requirements, riders, productions costs and and other contractual details that align with business objectives. Assist in ticket scaling and pricing.\n\nCollaboration and Networking: Work closely with the Marketing and Ticketing team to create and implement effective tour launches. Attend industry events and network.\n\nEvent Coordination: Collaborating with event managers, production teams, and artists to ensure all logistical details are met.\n\nProblem Solving: Addressing and resolving any issues that may arise related to bookings, such as cancellations, rescheduling, or unexpected changes.\n\nPost-event Evaluation: Assessing the success of the event, and gathering feedback for future improvements for the event space and market.\n\nABOUT THE CANDIDATE\nGeneral skills and abilities:\nAbility to multitask and work under deadline\n\nStrong negotiation skills\n\nA good understanding of the entertainment industry\n\nAbility to network effectively\n\nExcellent written and verbal communicator\n\nOrganized and detail-oriented\n\nStrong time management skills\n\nProficient with Google apps and Microsoft Excel\n\nSelf-starter that takes initiative and is a quick learner\n\nFlexible and able to change plans on the fly\n\nHighly motivated with the ability to work without close supervision\n\nTeam player that likes to have fun\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n2+ years of experience in the music industry preferred\n\nDegree in Music Business, Business, Sales, or Communications\n\nKnowledge and understanding of the Christian music industry\n\nMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment managing various projects and able to work under pressure with deadlines\n\nFlexible with work schedule as some projects will require weekend and evening hours\n\nReport to: Booking Manager\nClassification: Full-time, Hybrid (In Office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)\nSalary rage: $55,000 -
